Can you be accepted to a medical school in the US if you already hold a medical degree from a different country? I would especially appreciate input from adcom members if possible.

NYITCOM has a program for emigre MD. So MD -> DO is doable.

There is no law against applying to medical school.

I remember as a high schooler an elderly MD, DO, who came from a very long line of DOs. I think his Grandfather was a student of Dr. Still. He listed his degrees on his office as I stated above.
