Hi everyone!

I'm fairly new here, so I'm open to any advise.

I'm an international student at UCSD, human bio major with oGPA of 3.74 and sGPA of 3.75.

I haven't taken DAT yet, I've been preparing for a bit now - thinking about taking it late Feb/early March - I'm hoping to get 20-21.

I have a year of research experience, shadowed dentists for a summer, volunteered at a hospital for 150 hours, and I'm hoping to get more clinical hours.

I know that as an international student my chances are much much lower than everyone else - but I don't know where to apply to for higher chances.

If you could give me any advise on how to better prepare myself/lists of some schools I should look into that'd be great!

Thanks!

I would purchase this: http://www.adea.org/publications/Pages/OfficialGuide.aspx

Then go through the statistics for each school and look into things like # of international students admitted, average GPA of accepted students, etc. Keep your grades up, write a great personal statement, obtain some good LOR and get at least 20+ on the DAT. Good luck.
