I currently hold two waitlists to my state schools. I have a 3.7 GPA and average MCAT with all the "required" EC's to make me competitive. Any ideas?

With the amount of details you have provided it could literally be anything. Check out some of the other WAMC threads and try to replicate those in terms of specifics.

When did you submit you primaries and secondaries, how many schools did you apply to?, what is your MCAT, more details about your ECs (shadowing?, research?, volunteering?), how old are you (are you a nontrad?), whats your science gpa?
