Schools such as Albany, Penn State, NYMC, Wake Forest, Drexel, Hackensack, Geisinger will "yield protect" with your stats. State public schools such as UMass, Rutgers, Cooper, Stony Brook, SUNY Downstate and SUNY Upstate will assume that you will attend a Texas state public school. You could receive interviews at the other schools with your high stats but should mention in your secondary the reasons why you wish to relocate to the Northeast.

I'll cut the yield protect schools then and really emphasize that I want to leave TX in secondaries everywhere else. Thank you for your help.

If anyone has suggestions for schools to add, I'll take those as well.

MBA vs. MPH... that's a difference. Why either of these additional degrees?

I don't know what your community service club did. 200 hours seems a little paltry for someone who founded the club over the past two years. I know you probably are not counting any of the administrative time, but 200 hours over 2 years is... kinda average to below average. What did you do, and how do I know you are committed to community service to people who do not share your background?

Also on your science non-profit work, subtract the number of hours you did as a high school student (before college).

Many screeners are not going to understand how you can be a paid anti-racist activist. What does this involve? (I think I know but I want to be sure.)

As for living in the Northeast because your fiancee lives there, you probably have to deliberately connect with students and admissions professionals at the schools near where your fiancee lives prior to applying for advice, especially when it comes to state of residency benefits and how to manage your application. Can you wait until after you get married and then make the committed move up? Seriously, your stats give you leverage to wait and not be penalized for being a Texas resident if you really don't want to live there. Build your resume with community service performed in the Northeast rather than in Texas.
