Types of trauma in OZ?

I'm curious what types of trauma patients usually present with in down under? In the states it's mainly the gun and knife clubs and mva's secondary to alcohol. Is it the same there or different? Thank you.

Because of gun laws, GSW's are quite rare. MVA's more common.

yeah, it was a big deal to have a stabbing while I was there. Rundle Mall in Adelaide after dark was where most of the mischief came from. Sydney is a bit rougher but penetrating trauma is still nowhere near the volume we see in the states.

One GSW in 4 years there...a hunter shot himself in the foot cleaning his rifle.

Hardly a knife and gun club country.
