hey there,
your daily schedule will vary from day to day and from week to week (ie - no "monday" schedule). we get a master schedule of the upcoming weeks at the beginning of each block, though, so we know what's coming.
generally classes start at 8 or 9 and go to 12ish. in block one there was tutor group about three times/week and about two labs in the afternoons/week.
block two is all lecture - no PBL - about three/day. i don't know that we ever went past 12.
then there's distributions - you take whatever courses you want and you choose your schedule, so that varies tremendously.
block three is similar to block one - there is lecture and tutor group, but very few labs. classes/tutor group generally goes from 8-12 each day, but sometimes we get out as early as 10, other days we're kept until 1.
i'm not in block four, so i can't speak for that, but it's fairly similar to the rest.
also, during all the blocks (not distributions) there is block seven, which is where you do your hands on stuff and get a lot of more practical information - ie ethics and how to deal with difficult clients. that runs in the afternoons during the blocks, so even though block one might get out at noon, there could be a block seven lab from 1-4. it's all on the schedule, though.
as for pbl - we had it in block one and now we have it again in block three. so we went for all of november - march without any tutor group. they only put it in where it makes sense, so some blocks don't have it and it doesn't show up in distributions.
as for living in ithaca - i thought i would hate it, but i don't at all. can't say enough good things about it!
feel free to pm with any more questions.
