Remember that “pharmacist well being” survey that went out last year while we were all drowning? Never heard a thing about it from anyone that could do anything. Yeah, maybe another one of those will fix it, Brad?

He clarified his statement. He said he didn't mean to say it that way, was just advocating for pharmacy workers to get the extra hazard pay that all retail workers deserve.

Remember when he would do a monthly guest blog on APhA? Even that stopped.

Thanks for sharing this, I was bored so I decided to look into this.
This is taken directly from one of u/bradtice comments attacking someone who shed light on APhA's practices of not actually doing **** while it's board members sit there and pocket millions, 9 months ago:
' Our goal with the new membership models is to significantly increase membership. APhA’s PAC (Political Action Committee) is about $129,000. We’ve actually doubled this over the last few years. AMA’s and even the American Dental Association’s PACs are around a million dollars each. The average AMA donation is $56.85. I am donating $1,000 to the PAC this year and have several current APhA board members who have committed as well. None of us are millionaires or really in any better position than any other pharmacist to do this. I am asking pharmacists to donate $50. If we could get $1 million in the APhA PAC, we could get an entirely different level of access. ;
Not sure who he's talking about when he says 'none of us are millionaires or really in any better position than any other pharmacist to do this' because literally every single person in a position of power within this 'nonprofit' organization is a millionaire. When it comes to their CEO, Tom Menighan, he is bringing in a yearly salary of $750K+ from APhA alone.
APhA brings in anywhere from $34-39 million yearly in revenue, and has about the same number in liabilities, but ~$15 million of these liabilities is paid out in salaries/compensation to a total of 17 members in the organization. 9/17 make up the bulk of this $15 million. For the the record, Brad Tice is not one of these 9 people and looks like he's been getting shafted.

What a joke that half of the dues are going to salaries. Most frustrating part of a lot of nonprofits is the salaries

Your attachments only show about 2.5 -3M in salaries to the executives. Where does the other 13 million in salary go?

I didn't screenshot everyone getting paid in the organization, just the top earners. If you look through the forms they state near the beginning that one of their liabilities is compensation/salaries for employees and it's consistently around $14 million, but you're correct the numbers didn't all add up

Let me break down the way APhA works:
- Put out bull**** agendas on what initiatives they're going to push this year/quarter/month
- Ask for donations and membership dues to support said initiatives
- Ask for our input on said initiatives to make us feel like they actually care about us and the field
- Completely ignore all input received
- Put out public statements about whatever current event is going on and say 'Pharmacists can help by xyz' to make it look like they're actually advocating for us
- Tell their leadership (students/faculty, delegates, trustees, board members) on private phone calls and emails that they actually don't give a **** about community pharmacists and to avoid all interaction with us on social media to prevent the organization from being outed and looking bad (sorry u/bradtice )
- Make sure nothing ever actually gets done, initiatives all get left behind or 'put on the back-burner*' (*APhA president's exact words regarding Provider Status) while they come up with new bull**** to sell to students and the naive to keep up enrollment numbers
- Where did all the money go..? Someone should follow this paper trail, if there even is one.
- Host a couple yearly meetings patting each other on the back and congratulating each other on not getting anything significant done while jerking each other off in a circle
- Rinse and repeat
