I was just reviewing my notes from my interview and I never got a great feel for how the residents felt about the program and if they were happy. It seemed like it was difficult to get a resident alone one-on-one. Did anyone else get a clear read on the situation? I was also wondering if anyone got a straight forward answer about how long Hellman and Weichselbaum would be around?

Just my opinion, but I think they seemed quite satisfied with their education. They seemed to get along great, though many have families so they don't 'hang out' a whole lot after work. Some liked rotating through the different sites as a change of pace, while others thought it was a slight pain in the neck to travel around the city. The biggest complaint seemed to be that thing could get busy when the residents had to cover 2 attendings. That said, they seem to really know their stuff, enjoy the city, and get great job offers.

BTW, I had a similar problem pinning down a resident at hopkins. I'd appreciate any impressions people got from the residents there.
