U Mich- Invitation to interview before Secondary sent

I'm confused. I received an email to complete my secondary this week and then today I received a letter by Dr. Remick inviting me to call and schedule a date for the Applicant Interview Day. The letter is dated October 26, 2004. The wierd thing is that I haven't completed my secondary and my LORs aren't there yet. Is this normal?

Don't worry, it's totally normal - if they like your primary enough, Michigan will automatically invite you for an interview - you do still need to finish the secondary and get letters in before your interview date though. Good luck at the interview!

No, I'm from TX. My online status says they are offering me an interview and I should call to set up a date. I hope I don't have to wait until Feb. for the interview though!!!!

The same thing happened to me back in September--and my interview is scheduled for February 11. I hope you'll be luckier than I was! Best wishes!

Same here...I got one of those at the end of September and I am interviewing there February 18th...darn, elephunt...I'm going to miss you by a week. Definite good luck from me too!

When did you guys submit? Do they offer autointerviews all the way up to their deadline?

I submitted in early August, so I'm not sure if they offer autointerviews that long. I figure they'll offer them until they run out of spaces, lol.

That means that they REALLY want you. I got an auto interview, and was accepted (but I did have an AWESOME interview)....PVT me if you want more details about my experience. So far, I am going to UMich for the fall!!!
