I submitted my AMCAS two days ago and it's supposed to be in line to get reviewed.

But I got an e-mail today saying I should submit supplementary info to Duluth. I'm wondering how Duluth got my info despite the fact that AAMC says I'm still waiting to get my stuff reviewed.

Does Duluth simply let residents submit secondaries regardless of stats, or do they schools get the basic stats (e.g. MCAT) right away? I'm pretty sure they don't have my grades yet if it still needs to be verified, so MCAT score and/or residency is the only reason why I would think Duluth would bother e-mailing me about their secondary.

OOPs- sorry, I didn't realize this is the Allopathic section. I'll take this to the pre-Allo threads... sorry!

Hey, I'm an MS1 at UM-Duluth right now, very excited to finish my first year next week. Anyhow, UMD automatically sends out secondaries to every person who submits an AMCAS. So, as soon as they were notified that you submitted an AMCAS with UMD as a recepient, they would ask you to submit a secondary. That's my understanding of the situation. Hope that helps.
