.Hey guys 🙂
So I got an interview for U of T on March 28th and I don’t know what to do. Does anyone know any tips or books?/materials? for preparing for the CDA style interview for UofT.
Any help is appreciated. 🙂.

.I have an interview at U of T as well on March 29th . There usually is a thread with info about the preparation but I can’t seem to find anything on Canadian schools. I have a friend who told me about this course you can take but he can’t seem to remember the name and I can’t find it on this site. Also, someone mentioned something about a book a while back but I can’t seem to find that thread either. .

Interesting that both these people (if they are indeed 2 separate people) joined SDN on February 23, 2009... and both type in the same font.. like they copy-pasted a conversation from somewhere else...

I wonder what is next.. perhaps an advertisement for TSI? Just out of spite, I won't say the real name of the product.

What's TSI? And why wont you tell us "out of spite", did you not get in? Is that what it is?
Get off this forum if you have nothing to contribute.

Go write somewhere else. Oh and for your record, this server has "different fonts" you should check it out.

the most important thing you can do (aside from killing the interview) is rep one of the bbq places around town. the guy i stayed with took me to central and it was awesome! i hear neely's, corky's, and rendevous are also good. you'll def work up an appetite during the long interview day. afterwards go pig out and let off some steam with a few cold bronsons.

LOL I was looking for more productive advice, I guess good food is important too. 🙂

Which UT are you talking about? If you are talking about UT Memphis, you have nothing to worry about. It's very relaxed. The actual interview is only about 10-15 minutes. The rest of the day are just tours and talking about the curriculum. I mainly just looked at the interview feedback page for UT on SDN and the interview article on www.DMDstudent.com. Good Luck!

U of T as in University of Toronto, iin Canada.
they are doing all their interviews are March 28th and 29th

Yeah this thread is not very clear. Ive applied at University of Toronto and Western in Canada only actually. I think Im going to start a new thread and make it more clear as its getting mixed up with American schools.
Thanks for your help though and good luck to you all.
Oh and does anyone know if there are any business style books I can read to help me out? Or where I can get a bank of CDA style questions?

A friend called me out on my hypocrisy (in that I would accuse others of not helping fellow SDN'ers, but then he referenced this post that he remembered where I came short of helping.. so...) Top Star Interview: www.topstarinterview.com

I bought thiis a couple days ago, and it is very comprehensive in telling you what they are looking for. Since the CDA interview style has been studied and validified, there is a proper technique for scoring and there are a list of 7 competencies that the questions cater towards. I think it's a better deal than eliteinterview because it is only 40$ whereas the former is 150$...
I'm happy with my purchase, but my only complaint is that the book is 60 pages long, and with school I don't have time to read it all. So I'm trying to get through it fast...
