I submitted AADSAS application last Tuesday but I haven't completed the U Penn supplementary yet. Is that okay if I turn in by end of this week? Would it be bad?
I was also wondering about the length of the essays. For each question, I have about 2/3 of the page (without double spacing).
Would this okay? Please help!!!

I wrote one page TOTAL for all 4 questions... Made them "short" and "sweet".
I was thinking that they wouldn't want to read another "personal statement" after having so many things to review already.
I hope I'm right. I'm being optimistic here. :scared:

None of my supplemental essays were over half-page in length. One week turnaround time should be fine. GOOD LUCK!

Mine were all about half-page each. I didn't turn mine in until mid-late July last year and was still in the 1st batch of interviews, so don't worry about that. Best of luck!

So is it a consensus that even if given 6000 characters (Minnesota's requirements) that you should not use most of those characters? These essays should be even more brief than the personal statement?

I used 1 page for one question, and 1 paragraph each for the remaining 3 questions. So basically, I don't exceed two pages for all 4.

Those who say to keep it short and sweet are correct.

Looks like I'm omitting the first question, all my dental experiences are already on aadsas. And the remaining three questions, I'm only going to be at half a page single spaced total. Now that's really short and sweet. :/

They give you space for a reason. If they wanted short and sweet you would have a character count, like BU. They want to know as much about you as possible, don't skimp and don't expect the brief descriptions on the AADSAS application to sufficiently describe who you are.

Use the space up to make yourself appealing, that is what it is there for.
