Hi, I would really appreciate some advice regarding my situation. I graduated with a 3.3science gpa and a 3.5 overall. My MCAT is LOW and I've taken it twice. I applied to Ross U, and was accepted into their MERP program. For those who don't know, it's when there's a review semester and if you do well you automatically get placed in the upcoming MD session. The deadline to accept is tomorrow lol.

I have also applied to AUC for the September / January term just in case and am waiting to here back. Unfortunately I did not apply to any post-bacc programs. BUT I had some options. I was going to either do higher level science courses such as Human Anatomy and Physiology I & others at Harvard Extension School where I'd take a semester of sciences and then apply to island schools or other DO schools and stuff. However, there is no guarantee like MERP. More I did more, look at the scores and since I'll be applying with a year back to Ross, I wouldn't have to interview.

OR

do the Harvard Extension Health Career Program (a legit 1-2 post-bacc) retake MCAT and go thru the whole application process again. I've been super confused. Can anyone shed some light on any of the programs or help? Thanks!

You GPA should be no problem to make it into a D.O. school. Instead of spending money on that post-bacc, pay a private tutor to help with the MCAT. Once you hit a 26, you should be able to get an acceptance.

Do NOT go to the Caribbean.
