UAB & USA(Univ. of South Alabama), the two state schools in Alabama, both accepted me. Does anyone have any advice about which one I should go to? Thanks!

Congratulations! I think you should go to UAB - they seem to have good NIH funding & prestige. But please, base it on whereever you felt happiest...
