what time was the email sent?
 
It was sent at 2:34 pm. To me, it seems like an individual e-mail. You guys will probably get yours soon. I hope all SDN-ers get in!
 
Wow, it looks like the e-mails have been sent. I haven't received anything yet. Looks like it's game over for me🙁🙁:cry::cry:

Well maybe it's going by last name. What does your last name start with Easter? Texas? mine starts with R. Maybe there's still hope🙁

My last name is almost at the end of the alphabet. You guys can probably check using ssc. This is an attachment from the instructions she sent by e-mail:

1.Log in to the Student Service Centre at https://ssc.adm.ubc.ca/sscportal/servlets/SRVSSCFramework. If you are new to UBC, follow the instructions to set up a Campus-Wide Login (CWL). Your UBC reference number is now your student number.

2.If you have not done so, pay your registration deposit.

3.Register using your Pharmacy (BSCP) eligibility. If you are eligible to register in more than one program at UBC, select “Registration” from the “Registration” menu, then select “My Program”. Choose your BSCP Year 1 eligibility.
If you're able to see the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy option, then you're in!

Nevermind, I got it mixed up. ssc isn't really updated...that info is for later. Sorry for anyone i gave a heart attack to!!!😳

Oh man, I was almost gonna flatline, but I still haven't received an e-mail. I don't remember how it worked last year either, but I would think they'd send all the acceptance letters at once. Unless there are some ppl who already received rejection letters.
 
omg easterbunny, you totally gave me a heart attack...haha way to kill off the competition 😛

congrats Easterbunny and TexasBlaze! If I recall correctly, not everyone got the acceptance letter at the same time. Some people didn't receive an acceptance or a rejection letter meaning they were waitlisted. It's still early in the game =)

Hey Easter, when does it say you have to accept the offer by? If it's tomorrow and we don't receive an e-mail by the evening then it's definately game over.

It says that we have to reply by June 6, at noon.

when are they sending out rejections then? i just want to know something!
 
I got in too so I guess I'll see some of you guys around..

Hey guys, I just called Margaret and she said that all the acceptance e-mails were sent out today and that If you didn't receive anything today then it's game over.......well in that case, it looks like it's over for me:cry: UNLESS we've been waitlisted, but I won't believe it unless someone has also received a rejection letter.

so no one got a rejection email?

what does it mean to be on the waitlist? i would assume most people won't reject an offer if they have gotten in already
 
ok so i just got off the phone with margaret.

turns out they're sending out rejection emails out on thurs/fri

and people who are getting off the waitlist will be told sometime next week.
 
oh and for some reason they're not telling people who's on the waitlist, because they don't want to get people's hopes up...

PCAT:97
Volunteering: Some: nothing very spectacular, no pharmacy experience

so i ve heard that most of the ppl who get accepted are around 87% GPA is that the average? or what is the ave for pcat?


one more question,when you had ur interviews, could you ask them to explain the question they were askin in case you dont understand what theyre asking.i m concerned about this since english is my seconf language and they may sometimes use some words that i'm not familliar with. do they really explain?

White Coat Ceremony.

Where you receive the ... white coat (the one you tried on before your interview). You get to invite two guests (it was two last yr).

Most importantly, there will be FOOD!!

I'm sure you'll get more info later on. The date should be within the first week of school🙂
 
anyone get rejection emails yet? I haven't, but I dunno what that means yet.
