I know UC Riverside just started it's own post bac program. So far the only requirements listed are that you have to be a UCR student. I went to UCR today to get some more information like on GPA and MCAT but the person who had all the information had left.
I was wondering if anyone here has been successful talking with the person and if they know what the GPA and MCAT requirements are for UCR?

I have friends in the med program where you do the first two non-clinical years at UCR then the 3rd and 4th years at UCLA. I think it's safe to say this is the program that the postbac is setup with.

This is the school that I was intending to start a PhD program at before I had a change of heart. They seem to have really good facilities in terms of biomed research (you probably know this as you're a student there), and I hear they're actually starting their own med school in 2012. Any news on that?

I think they are on the last stage of planning. The main office will be on the intersection of MLK and Chicago.
