Hi,

I received a letter from PharmCAS with the following message.

You have failed to enter the correct departmental prefixes for your coursework at UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA - DAVIS.

Does anyone know where I can find the correct prefixes are for the classes?
On the unofficial transcript I only see the three letter codes, however that is the incorrect one.

For example MAT would be MATH.
ECS -> ENG CS
EEC -> ENG E&C
BIS -> BIOLSCI

I don't know where to find the rest of the course prefixes.

Always use your OFFICIAL transcripts!!!

I graduated from UC Davis and listed all my coursework exactly from the transcript and PharmCAS had no issue verifying them.

Sounds like UC Davis may be an exception - my unofficial transcripts all showed the same thing as what was on the official. The only other option I think you have would be to call or go down to the school & go through the unofficial & write down what they say will be reported on the official transcript. Seems like it's a lot of work just to avoid the fee, though.

Same thing happened to me.. I had no idea that the unoffical transcript on sisweb had different course abbreviations than the official transcript. I ended up having to order an official transcript to fix the discrepancy. Here are a few of my classes with the correct abbreviations to help you out, but I highly reccommend ordering the official transcript.. as I'm sure I can't provide you with all the abbreviations you need.
