I have a weird situation and I need some advice and input as to how I should continue.

I was accepted from high school to a low tier UC (University of California) which I attended for two quarters.
The first semester was fine but the second semster I had some personal issues and had to withdraw from the entire quarter.

I decided that I probably was not going to succeed in this environment and came home and attended a local community college. I just finished 2 years of community college with a 3.7 ish gpa where I finished biology. physics, chemistry, calc, english, and some psych.

I have applied for transfer but due to my weird situation and the impacted major I applied for (in retrospect was a bad idea) I will likely be rejected. I'm just really unsure of what to do.

I can stay another year in community college and take organic chemistry and some upper divs like genetics and microbiology to make myself more competetive for transfer or I can be readdmitted to the UC I left.

How do you think med school adcoms will view this weird path of Uni to CC to Uni. I plan on a heavy load of upper division science courses after I transfer to prove that I can handle the rigorous medical school cirriculum. I hope no one thinks that I left University so that I could take easy pre-reqs at community college because the low tier UC I attended was easier then some of my community college classes because it is linked to high tier UCs.

Honestly seems pretty normal... As long as you finish strongly at a university, you will be fine.
Good luck!

You'll have a solid GPA from your CC. Med schools will see your year-to-year trend for your overall GPA and BCPM GPA (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Math). Continue doing well academically when you transfer to the UC and you'll be fine, as they can see that you are able to do just as well at a UC.
