ucbso essay character limit?

Kind of a specific question here. Does anyone know the character limit (with spaces?) for ucbso's personal essay? The essay question is:

"Please discuss how your personal background informs your decision to pursue a graduate degree. Include any educational, familial, cultural, economic, or social experiences, challenges, or opportunities relevant to your academic journey, and why the optometry program at UC Berkeley would be a good fit for you."
I'd just like to know how much, or how little, I should be writing. Thanks.

I'm not totally sure about this year, but last year the limit was 4500 characters (same as the optomcas essay) and the prompt was exactly the same last year so I would imagine it has around the same character limit as well.
