I'm getting closer to being out of the military and on my way to finishing my BA. I'm dead set on attending UCF in Orlando to major in History and do pre-med work. I was wondering if anyone here has done their undergrad at UCF? How helpful were the pre-med advisors/committee? I just want to gauge how much I should realy on them or if I should go it alone.

Since I'm asking a question anyways... How is the volunteer/entry-level healthcare opportunities in the Orlando area? I'd like to work part-time in a physicians office for $$/clinical experience/shadowing.
