Hey I am. I am actually in Brevard at Brevard Community college right now. I am still a senior in highschool. I will graduate BCC this summer and am attending UCF for predental as a junior in the fall 07. Are you in it now or will you soon be attending? Let me know what you are doing and how is UCF as a school overall? I would like to know all the info. from UCF as possible since I don't know anyone that attends there. Are there professors overall good? Everyone I keep talking to tells me that UCF stands for u can't finish. Is this true? Sorry to bombard you with questions, but I would appreciate it if you could answer them. Finally someone from the area I am in. 🙂

Hi! i am ucf right now...actually i am junior, i transfered to ucf in last fall from valencia. Its an awesome school, well you have to work hard to graduate. Depends on what classes you are going to take & what kinds of professors you have. Some of them are good some fo them are horrible!!! i have experienced both...but you can keep in touch with me when you register for your fall classes at UCF. I can give you comments on professors if i had taken them before or you can go to www.ratemyprofessors.com & find ucf professors there. i am 08 applicant. good luck!!

Thanks soo much! I already use rate my professor. That is an awesome website. I will def. keep you in my mind if I have any other questions. I will be going to orientation soon and registering, but I don't know what exactly to take yet. I guess I will figure it out soon enough. Thanks again. 😀

I'm graduating from UCF in May. I'm going to BU in the Fall for D school.

I don't see how telling you this information will help you get into D school. Why don't you start with stating your concerns and we can go from there.

I'm starting at UCF this fall. I'll be a junior. This girl I know was accepted into UF's dental school. She had 3.7 G.P.A. and 21's on DAT and got in.

I'm graduating with a 3.4 gpa and 21 AA on the DAT. My major is M&M (Molec bio and microbio) but looking back I really would have enjoyed liberal studies as major because you can pick a couple different focuses.

As far as choosing a major, it doesn't really matter just as long as you take care of those pre-reqs. Some of my friends started out as science majors but then changed because they really love studying history or culture.

Ms. Tooth Lady I was wondering what professors you had for you classes? Can you list them and a small detail about them. I just looked up all the classes I have to take and every professor they offer is horrible on rate my professor. Let me list them and you can tell me otherwise if they are alright to deal with.

hi! i didnt have any of these prof ....i transfered last semester from vcc....so havnt taken many classes @ UCF....took Org I&II, neurobio, genetics, phy I&II, org lab, med terminology, SLS 2311 @ UCF & m going to take gen micro during summer @ UCF.....these are the only courses that i can help you with

I've had Morgan for 3 classes. She's tough but she's SUPER nice in office hours. All the classes you are going to take are hard. What it really comes down to is managing them all and scheduling them.

I used to use ratemyprofessors when I first came to UCF. But BE WARNED! It can be deceiving. Sometimes the hard professors are the best ones because they make you learn the best. And I've had easy professors too, but some are lazy and don't like teaching. Instead they like wasting my money.

Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. I know rate my professor at times can be wrong. It's just my only source I feel that I can actually find out a little about professors. I do know though that the hard teachers will make me push harder. Actually all of my really hard classes I got a's in. I would force myself to work hard to get that grade. I am just scared, new school, new teachers, new everything. I am worried about getting a teacher that will make my GPA drop. A teacher who doesn't teach, that is my fear. I hate the ones that expect you to remember everything. Thanks again!!!

oh god i know exactly wht u mean....the same thing happen to me when i first came to UCF last semester....I got my first D ever!!!!!!!!!!!uhhh just coz i didnt know how the prof was....now i know!!& i recommend every1 not to ever take him unless u really really have no choice!
