I don't know of anyone posting up here that they got a hold/rejection from uchicago. But all the interview invites have been email so I figure probably email for holds/rejections.

holds are probably emails like the interview invites, but the "complete" email says that any final decision will be sent via surface mail, so a rejection shoudl come in the mail as an actual physical letter i would think
