This was JUST updated within the past 1-2 Hours!!! I interviewed the second week of December!!!

I had a change of status too..."Letter Sent" 02/22/06...I interviewed on January 13th...

man... my worst nightmare has come true. everyones decisions coming out while my status change remains blank. i'm sad.
Yes, last year there was the first batch in Jan., then a second round of acceptances about a week later (I can't remember if there were rejections in the second, but definitely acceptances).
Also, when I called a couple of days ago to ask about financial aid, they mentioned that they will be sending out first decisions through the end of the month. Good luck everyone!

If you didn't get a status change, keep in mind that lots of things can prevent a committee from meeting (emergencies, holidays, etc.). It is not a bad thing that your status hasn't changed (well, besides the fact that you have to continue waiting). UCLA waited a long time to send out decisions, so this could very well be a mixed batch. Also, as Elastase said, last year UCLA sent out a second round of decisions within a couple days of the first.

i think i'm about to cry too 🙁...no status change (interviewed late november). thanks, everyone, for the hope that later batches will have acceptances, too, but you know how it is: i want this so bad, it's kinda hard to keep up hope every second of the day. 🙂

I thought mine went well...both of my interviewers were cool and I had a great time...I also had a student interviewer, but I don't think that matters b/c last year on sdn about a half had or didn't have the extra interview.

Just confirming with all, any reply has a thin envelope right? (Acceptance, Waitlist) ... Also, if I understand right, there are no rejections post int until the end (are you on waitlist then til the end?)

I've been following this thread for a while now, but I'm hugely disappointed, and I might as well contribute now.
Interviewed back in October, I think the 23rd, but I thought they went reasonably well, but one can never me sure.
Guess not, I just got the mail and it's the big R. My live is over. Not even a freaken waitlist? Where are my razors.

Why dont they take some large envelopes and stick in 20 copies of the rejection letter. Then for acceptances, they can take a small envelope and only give you a letter that tells you to check online, and after like 10 min of link clicking and id verifying, you get your acceptance in a little status box. Then they could send all all the rejections first and wait till may to give out the acceptances....
Since UCLA is a state school, does anyone else think this wait counts as cruel and unusual punishment...?

Really sorry to hear that...that totally sucks that they are rejecting kids already. They must be sending out based on different commitees? Sounds like we will be getting their decision soon in th email...btw..where do you live uclahope?

Overall though, I definitely agree (for UCLA and most other schools) that the common line of "If you are rejected from our MSTP it in no way affects your MD applciation" is total bull****.

Status change 2/22, Interviewed Jan 4. I am a UCLA undergrad living 10 minutes away from school. Checked my mail today and ....nothing.
I remember checking the website back in october and discovering that a interview offer had been sent on Oct 15. However I did not recieve the letter invitation in the mail for another 7 days. I am guessing that is going to be the same case here as well.
And to UCLAhope who was rejected already, I am very sorry to hear that. Was your letter sent on the 22nd as well according to the website?
