Hi everyone,

Can any previous/current students at UCLA FSPH discuss research opportunities in the Epidemiology department? I know that UC's are pretty large academic institutions, and therefore I am worried about the research opportunities and accessibility of those to master's students. My ultimate goal is a PhD and therefore securing a research position during my years as a Master's student is very essential...

I'm seeking similar information about FSPH. What are the research opportunities? Are professors accommodating to students? I am currently deciding between schools for epi, and UCLA is one of my choices. I am also looking at Yale, Columbia, Emory, and JHSPH… Any feedback about UCLA's program would be extremely helpful
