Is it even worth it to complete the UCLA secondary at this point of time?
I just got the secondary and it looks pretty time consuming, and considering that I am not even a US citizen, I am wondering whether I should even bother with it...I was AMCAS verified at the end of October, so this is pretty fast. I am thinking that they just want my processing fee and will reject me right after they get the money. I didn't really expect anything from this school, it was just a spur of the moment thingy when I added this school...So my question is, do you think its worth it at this point of time to be completing the UCLA secondary considering I have almost no chance of getting in anyways???? Thanks!

They're pretty short, and you should have enough written from your other secondaries that these questions shouldn't be too bad. I got one too...

Remember, you only get to (hopefully) apply once, so just do it--it would be worth it.

This is the same reasoning I used to get myself to apply to Harvard/Yale/Stanford/ JHopkins/Mayo...

Are you ******ed? Seriously...I'm asking?

Complete the UCLA secondary. If you get a secondary from a UC, then you complete it! bottom line.

It's not all that long either.

Seeing that it is UCLA, you obviously must complete it 🙂. My bias shows. But nonetheless, if you complete it in a timely fashion you are still pretty early on in the process for the UC schools.

Really? I didn't know that

In your MD Apps, you indicate UCLA is your first choice.

Why are you even asking this?

UCLA is not my first choice...I have maybe 0.1% chance of getting in, not being a US citizen, I applied there "just for the hell of it" 🙂

Since I was under the impression I was extremely late at rolling schools I was going to concentrate on non-rolling schools only and not waste more money on rolling schools where my chances are really slim. Also, having looked at the UCLA secondary, it seems that I might leave some sections blank, which is probably not helpful anyways. Does that explain things?
