it didn't say anything, but said that this should be an opportunity for students to see the school. So I'm wondering if it is just an open house or a day for potential students?

I applied to health management.

apparently the email was sent out to a total of 118 folks so apparently these are my competition

here is the exact letter prompt:

Dear Health Services Student Applicant,

You are invited to attend the UCLA School of Public Health, Health Services Department Student Visit Day, Feb. 22, 2010 from 8:30-5:00pm.
See attached invitation.
Please RSVP via email by Feb. 12, 2010.

So it seems that only those that applied to the health services program got the email.
