which uc's reject post-secondary? i keep getting 'hold for interview', and i'm wondering if these schools actually reject or if everyone gets put on hold.

Well, they are not even kind enough to give me a hold. Not that a hold is kind or anything. But geesh...I would like to hear something one was or another?!?!
I'm tired of the stupid waiting game. 🙄

lola---i was thinking the same thing...that if they just put everyone on hold post secondary or not...i am not sure. i was put on hold at sd and sf...never heard from davis after the 2ndary and never even got a secondary from la!!!!!!

Lola, if i remember right from the update thread--UCSF & UCDavis (however, these 2 schools also use the hold). UCSD & Irvine are playing it safe by compiling a long hold list. I haven't heard of any UCLA post-sec rejections or holds yet. As w/ previous years, Davis is maintaining its reputation of being the slowest.

i wouldn't say all put you on hold cuz i was straight up rejected as SF.

i stopped trying to figure this stuff out. i'll just take what they give me.

from reading old threads it seems like davis & sf reject post-secondary. i'm not sure about irvine & sd, though. it seems like they might put everyone in the hold category 🙁 at this point i could care less about ucla. i think it's very inconsiderate of them to keep people waiting this long.

ALL SCHOOLS that screen and give secondaies will screen AGAIN and give rejections and interviews...i.e. you may get a sec and then a rejection at ucla

ucla does reject post secondary... it happened to my friend last year. 🙁

so has anyone gotten a post-secondary rejection from uci or ucsd?

if not, i find it really really annoying and not very courteous of them to put everyone on hold that they're not offering an interview to straightaway.

has anyone been taken off hold at uci?
