Hi there,

Ppl who have applied for UOP or UCSF, lets start discusions and get to know each other about the applications and bench exam preparation.
Any one recieved application status email??

How r u ppl planning to preparing for bench exam?
any courses??
any idea about what they ask us to do in the bench test?

I recieved an email of confirmation from uop regarding the application.I had to call ucsf though and confirm regarding the status.
I have heard that the bench exam held in uop is table top and they ask class 2 and PFM/FVC.
 
Thank u for the info. I got conformation email from UCSF on emailing them regarding the status of my application. So, probably, not receiving an email might mean ur appl is complete. anyways better to find out.

Hi there,
mine is 87/3.3/98... dont know if I can expect an IV call with these stats. I have low toefland gpa. Application is complete as of now, and im keeping my fingers crossed..

Hi all...i'm applying to UOP but due to ECE mess up I'm gona complete my application mid week next week, with friday being the deadline...i know the website say that you should apply early but does anyone know how big of a difference does it make to apply early....my stats are 84/3.19/108 with Certified Dental Assistant experience in Canada.

my GPA is very low(2.86).
You think with high TOEFL and NBDE score, may I get UOP admission?

I dont think there would me much difference in applying early or late.. I guess u should apply to uop. I dont think any college would lose a good candidate JUS coz he/she applied late...

there is no wrong in applying... definitely every college looks overall profile.. not jus gpa, isnt it so? when u have good nbde and toefl why dont u apply and see... gook luck .. thanks for ur wishes

hey mission dmd i just read that even u applied very late to this college. did you hear from them? what shud we do?

According to the UCSF website, the school won't review the application with incomplete documents after the deadline. You'd better send Mary Pham an email to confirm your application status.

hi avataar.i too applied in the last days.just mail the office ,u will know ur application status regarding its completion.
 
For UOP , i received email saying by 27th they will let us know the status. I'm waiting as well, since they are overwhelmed with the sudden applications that flow in last week.
For USCF , its would be best to call and confirm , Ms Mary Pham will confirm that for you or email.
 
In UCSF marry pham told me that our application is first received by central office of ucsf and from there it takes 3-4 working days so even if univ has received the application before 13th aug, but if it have not been on the desk of marry pham before 13th aug your application may get rejected, so people waiting can email for the confirmation.

thats nice to hear from u.. thanks for input.. i think u must have applied really early.... right now they are telling to give the status i think by the end of this week..
 
hi guys, i got an e mail saying that my application is complete on july 9. but they keep sending me email that your status will be confirmed on august 27, kindly do not contact the admissions office during this time. they have sent me this mail twice.
are you guys also getting such e mails? i donot understand...
 
i have recieved those reminders about large number of application and we should not contact them.. and they added they will inform on this firday.. but i havent ever got the confirmation about my application completion even once.. may be i replied litttle late.. at the peak time with all other applicants so might have a problem..

fingers crossed.. hope my application must be complete. 🙂

avataar i got application complete email from them couple of days ago. I had to email them to find out the status but they were prompt to reply back
 
I just got an email from Warren Wong and my application for Uni. of Pacific is complete. Yeah! They are going to send invitation in late September. The interview will be held in late october.
 
I got the application complete email on Friday and will be waiting & praying for their interview call emails....🙁 waiting is a tough time......
 
hey guys whoever has applied pls share your stats....it just gives everyone a perspective as to where they stand and if we dont' get in this year we know how to prepare ourselves better for next year....
 
Hi All,

I just came to know that UCSF got around 400 applications due to reduction of Part 1 score eligibility and they are going to call 150 for interview...

It is just FYI....

Last year was only 250 applicants of which 150 got an interview....

this year the chance of getting an interview has decreased.....

there were only 70-75 candidates for interview last year....

I dont know how many people attended....as I didnt attend the interview last year....

This is just info which I got......
 
UCSF called 70 applicants last year for the interview process of which 65 attended it in real. Most likely, 70 applicants will be invited for interview this year as well. Hope that helps, all the very best for all of you waiting, hang in there!
