im currently in UC and i only took one quarter (3units) of biochem since it was my major requirement

but ucsf requires at least 4 units

so, if i just take one more 3units of biochem, so total 6units (the one i took+the one im trying to take) then im good to go?

please help me!

I would think that you should fine. I believe you have until the summer before you matriculate to complete the pre-reqs so that gives you some time to find out for certain.

Yes, it might be a good idea to just shoot an email to the dental school and ask them. I sent an email to a school stating that I was short 0.5 units and they waived the pre-req, but they didn't waive a prereq when I was 1.5 units short.

I took 3 quarters of biochem. Each 3 Units

I just put 2 quarters making it 6 units to reach its minimum.

No. UCSF's policy is that it must be done by Spring semester. Not a big point, but its important to note the difference when UCSF has been really strict about everything!

As for Kies' original question: Yes put down both then you have exceeded their minimum, but putting only one would mean you haven't met the minimum.

Good luck!

I took two quarters of biochem (both 4 units each) and performed much better in biochem 2. I would ideally like to list both or just biochem 2, but the instructions state to put what fulfills the minimum requirement.

Any thoughts on what to do?

"Because of the volume of applications we receive, we're unable to verify coursework or approve courses for applicants entering the initial stage of the application process."
I would just go ahead and list both?
ps. i'm in the same situation...two biochem classes and did better on the second one
