Guys.. I did not get my invitation package yet... because I live outside US..

I have to book my flight schedule ..

Is there anyone who can tell me when the interview will end on Wednesday?

It is important to me to schedule flight.

Hi,

heres the schedule-

Oct 25- noon-4 pm
Oct 26- 8:30 am- 4:30 pm
Oct 27, 28- 8:30 am- 5 pm

The interview will be finished until Wednesday 5pm.
Interviewers have their interviews on Tuesdays or Wednesday or Thursday up to individual schedule.
The school will let you know your schedule day on Monday or Tuesday.
 
hey even i received an interview call from ucsf on 9th....

anybody has done the coaching for the technical exam??

But unfortunately, UCSF does not call others in place of vacancies.

There is nothing mentioned even in my package.It is just ques ans session which is meant to clear our doubts regarding UCSF.

okkkk...in schedule for second day...they mentioned abt quiz...so i was bit doubtful...wht would be it about?????

Is SF a safe city if I have to travel via city bus and trains at midnight after the practice sessions?
i couldn't find any hotel near UCSF that isnt full for those dates.
suggestions?

Firstly you are boy not a girl, 2ndly you will not be in Bombay, 3rdly it seems that you are strong, courageous, outgoing, outspoken and bold personality, so why and from whom you are worried about?😎

Having said that no place is safe on this earth, but just a friendly reminder and for a safer side make sure… you keep a “Hannuman Chalisa” with you all the time while travelling from Bombay to SF through New York.😀

but i meant more in terms of mugging and stuff like that.

no the city is very much relatively safer than new york or many other cities. I guess if u are not staying near school u gonna stay in downtown area, which is usually crowded in nights too and city bus runs all night. It is also a good idea to call and check with the hotel that if it is accessible all through night by public transport.

p.s "Hanumaan Chalisa" is not a bad idea though :laugh:

Its obvious after reading these posts that you are from Nj/Ny area!! Can you please let me know how you are goin to prepare?? I am thinking to purchase everything for me!! but not sure whether thats a good idea or not?? is anyone overthere from Nj/Ny who is interested in sharing all the istruments for preparation??? please reply soon...

1. Why is there a diamond bur kit mentioned and what does it contain.
2. Why is there 3 preparations mentioned when only 2 are asked.

to add to the above post..

is the time divided equally between the 2 preps or can we do the preps as we want?
 
I think that you get 3 hours but you can do the prep and move on to the next one when you are done with the first. That's how it is at UOP.

Im confused about the 3 prep's also. Anybody know?
 
time wise yes u get 3 hours and you can do preps in any order or way u want like occlusals of both then buccals of both, or finish one and go to other etc etc whatever combination excites you :laugh:
regarding 3rd prep am not sure if any of u can write the exact language mentioned i might give u some idea.

Where did they mention about the 3rd prep? I can't find anything like that.

Should we wear formal cloths for practical exam? What should I wear for first day, for practical exam?
Any idea?😕
 
Third preparation is part of the package that was sent.

Does anyone have any idea, if we were to use any burr other than what's mentioned in instructions, verses whats provided to us, again i am still not sure whats in the diamond bur kit.

i have booked te hotel from 24th through 29th......one person can share the accomodation as there are 2 allowed in a room....
