UCSF Status updates

So the UCSF status page says they will review your application within 8 weeks of secondary completion. I know that they e-mail for interviews and snail mail for all else. If it's approaching that time period and I have heard nothing, do you think that a rejection letter is in the mail for me? I.e. if they supposedly review the app in that time period, will they also make and notify of a decision within that time frame?

There's a whole thread dedicated to this topic called "UCSF secondary." Some people seem to hear something only a few days after being marked complete, others hear more than 2 months later (they're inconsistent).
