Hello friends....
To my surprise I got accepted in both UCSF and NYU. Its a golden oppurtunity for me as I get to choose now. Buts its a tough decision for me and i want help from all the SDN members to make a good one. Both schools are good but unfortunately I have to pick one. UCSF will save an year and some money. But I am concerned about the long term benefits. I want to know which one will be better fer me in the long run....considering the educational standards, clinical exposure and later employment oppurtunities. I have an inclination to settle dwn in east coast later. does it make any difference where u graduate from when it comes to employment. Any opinion will b valuable.
Help!!!

Hi, Congratulations on getting accepted. You have a pretty hard choice to make as both are top schools of the U.S. As of employment, I dont think it makes much of a difference as to where one graduates from but as you mentioned about your interest about settling in the east coast, If I was you, I would have chosen NYU. I believe one gets a chance to make good relations at the place of study and it can make a pretty huge difference during employment. Two of my friends at NYU got placed immediately just because they had great interactions with their professors who knew people around. Also, they both are making better money when compared to the west side dentist.

This is my opinion...Rest is upto you.... Good luck deciding 👍
