hey guys, so I got that letter saying state whether I intend to repeat the DAT in an attempt to achieve minimally acceptable or competitive scores in each category.
I need your inputs because I am not sure if it is worth it to retake the exam. I took my DAT for the second time, and improved in every section except the RC. 👎 (check predents) But my first test score didn't have anything lower than 18 so that does meet the min. requirement.
I am hesitating to say yes because I do not want to retake that exam and I think my scores are fairly competitive with the rest of the application. Also, I don't want to be put on hold for the next 2 months just because I said yes to the retake offer.
I am not sure which is a better option for me at this point, whether to just tell them that I will not retake the DAT or tell them I will retake it. Any inputs will be helpful and if anyone went through the same thing last year, please share.
Thank you
