hi!
I am so glad I came across this post. I have applied to the conditional OT program at UF this year as well! What was the date on the letter that you received? Just curious because I live in NC, so I want to know when I can be expecting to get it and have a decision. Congrats on your acceptance!
My daughter received her letter in yesterdays mail..I believe it was postmarked the 23rd

Yea I got mine yesterday (Saturday the 26th). Wait listed unfortunately but I was offered a spot at St. Augustine. I've lived in Gainesville for just over 10 years now (did my undergrad at UF) and would be happy to answer any questions you all may have about the campus or city.

I'm sorry to hear that 🙁. I'm giving up my spot at FGCU so hopefully that will help. I originally planned to take a year off and work as well. It's definitely not a bad option considering how expensive graduate school is.
It's OK because she interviewed at Adventist University and fell in love with that school too...people are super nice and the facilities are brand new ...interviewed by a committee of 8 and she just found out they have offered her a position. She is waitlisted on FGCU and I asked her if she by chance gets an offer from them would she take it and she said no...she likes ADU better! So excited for her and for everyone else who was accepted to the schools...also feeling sad for those who have tried so hard and didn't get an offer....as I told my daughter everything happens for a reason....she was ready to work and save and try again next year if she had to.

Has anyone outside of FL gotten their letter? I'm in NC and still haven't gotten mine...getting pretty nervous

I live in CA and I got my rejection letter today. UF accepts very few out-of-state students so I'm not surprised. Good luck!!

Congrats on St. Augustine! Are you still planning to accept your position at UF and wait it out?

So I received my letter of rejection from UF...it was my alma mater...but I'm pretty sure it was because my stats and abnormal psych were over 7 years old...they're 9 years old. I suppose took a risk applying still but I figured since they taught me the material they should've stood by it over the years! haha I guess not. Oh well. Good luck to everyone else! Go Gators 🙂

Thanks! Yes I let them know I'm interested in remaining on the wait list; I live in gville with my BF and UF would be so much cheaper than USA....feel like I shouldn't give up on it lol.

My daughter is a senior at UF now and graduating magna cum laude and she t00 was rejected! Not sure what exactly they are looking for....things happen for a reason I guess...it's OK because she is still reaching her dream just at a different school! You are broadening your horizons!!!
