For those that interviewed after December 1st, we should hear back from UF this week right? Anyone have any clue what day or if it will be a AADSAS update/call/letter?

I think we will hear back the first week of Feb. I am pretty sure they said it will be via mail.
 
Yep, I remember them saying at my interview that it would be the first week in February. I don't recall if they said if it was by mail or phone (or both 🙂).

I thought I heard February 1st, but now I'm thinking it was "the first week of Feb." Only because that's what everyone else is saying. Good luck everyone!

Yes, it is. Colorado is a close second, but I really want to stay close to family, and UF is such a great school (I'm thinking of specializing).

Oh, and in-state tuition is always nice! :laugh:
 
I've been on their waitlist since the December 1st decision... Still waiting... 🙂
 
pretty sure the committee meets today and letters should be sent out by mail anytime after..

Man, wish I could. I have a genetics test and class till 7:30 tonight! I'm gonna freak if all of you get mail and I'm stuck at school! :scared:

I know I have an exam tonight as well. I haven't been able to concentrate.
 
Yall can calm down, I called yesterday and was told end of this week begining of next...
 
Did you happen to ask them if they call or email or mail?

If the adcom met on monday, and sent out the letters today, they would take 2-3 days to get to us..so the end of the week makes sense.
 
Committee met on 1/28...and they said phone and mail, which I suppose means phone if you got in, mail if waitlist
 
just got a call from dr. sposetti and liz manini - ACCEPTED!

lol..not to be negative..but I wonder how long it takes them to call everyone they accepted this round. They must finish in one day, how long does it take to make a few 2 minute phone calls...?

Yeah, they are probably all done with the calls. My acceptance calls from other schools were 2 mins. tops. We really don't know, but....still. Anyways, the wait list option is still open. They interview through Feb, so there is still hope of acceptance eventually.That's if we are wait listed.

Oh man!! I'm still waiting 🙁 and I got a 3.8gpa, 20 sci/19AA
when did u interview? Mine was early Jan...
 
Numbers aren't everything...3.96 sci (4.00 non-sci), 21/20/21 🙁

Hey HSk... I've been waitlisted since Dec. 1st too and haven't heard anything (almost identical DAT and lower GPA than yours) 🙁..... It SUCKS!! Do you know any other people on the waitlist. Have any of them heard back or are they waiting until later to accept alternates?

There is hope. I just got a call today and was offered admission. I will ponder this choice for a little and make my decision as to deposit or not. I was on the wait list since dec 1st.

The waitlist is certainly not the best place to be (but hey, it could be a LOT worse. At least there is still hope for both of us!!! :xf:)

I have one other friend on the waitlist with me (she is one of the people listed as waitlisted on predents).. and as far as I know, she hasn't heard anything today; however, the person two posts above me appears to have heard (they're also out of state, and I would imagine that in state and out of state waitlists are different...)

Just remember, it's not over until the first day of classes in August! (Or, I guess technically it doesn't begin until then.. :laugh: So hang in there! Things will work themselves out!!!!)

I'm hanging in there and hopefully I'm hanging on the wait list. But if not, there's one extra spot for you 🙂

apparently we should of just gotten 17 DAT's and 3.1 GPA's. sounds like a sure acceptance at some schools nowadays.

when did you guys all send in your AADSAS?
Just trying to think of why such qualified people are getting no responses..
 
any news today? no rejection letter yet..or AADSAS update.

If the commitee met on 1/28, why would it take them till the end of this week, beginning of next to call people?

I would think we would hear a few more people saying they got called if they were already done...but what do I know?

and aadsas says the cycle is closed so will it even update anymore?

I'm sitting here pressing Ctrl+r every 5 seconds as well...

I'll check my mail today -_- ... hoping for the best... no aadsas or phonecall...
