Can anybody tell me how good or bad these schools are? Does anybody know if there is actual faculty on the campus and how often you have to go to class? I've heard both extremes regarding these schools, but I dont really know how they work...

Anybody know? Thanks!

You go to the University of Florida and you get the same education as the Gainesville students. Most of the lectures are online, and Gainesville students can attend in person. However, many (well most) of them do not and watch them online as well. The distance sites are smaller so I think you get to know your classmates and faculty better. Yes you have faculty there, they run the courses that occur on campus. For example, when we have presentations and discussions. They won't be the same professors from the Gainesville sections, most likely they will be pharmacists from around the community. Last semester we were there about twice a week and now this semester 3 times a week or so.

The drawbacks are, you won't be in a college town. You won't see how the town changes on a Saturday during a football game. Those types of things you won't get at a distance campus, because it's not Gainesville.
