One of the COP I'm looking at is University of Washington. Right now I'm a freshman undergrad. A lot of things have led up to this but we are now looking at moving to Washington where I'd transfer into the school as an undergrad. I was looking at the admissions info for the school and am a bit worried. For one thing they will not take my intermediate algebra credit. 😕 Also, it appears that as a transfer student as an undergrad I'd have some competition. They take into account your GPA, and my GPA sucks. By the end of the year I'll have a 2.0 tops.
Some of the reasons we are looking at moving now instead of trying to apply for COP as an out of state student are:
Poor economy in Kansas: my husband has a fairly low paying job despite having skills, there just isn't anything available whereas he could easily get a good paying job in WA.
My odds of getting in later are better as an instate student
I don't want to have to resort to a CC (nothing against them!) if we did move but it's appearing as though it would be a bit difficult to get in as a transfer student.
Anyone transfer into the school as an undergrad and have any info for me. 😕
