I'm moving in the middle of my junior year. I won't miss any days, since I'm moving during winter break. My dad's in the military so we've always moved every 3 or 4 years at around the same time. The problem is, I have no idea how I'm going to adjust in so little time to maintain my grades. My current schedule:

1. AP Bio---94%
2. AP Statistics---94%
3. (empty elective, teacher aide; there were no classes that I wanted to take since all that was open for me were classes like food prep, rotc etc haha)--A (it's teacher aide lol)
4. Psychology (98%)
5. AP Lang (93%)
6. AP Econ (92%)

I'm getting A's in all of them (not high A's though, like mid-A), and I'm pretty happy with my courses. I'm worried about how different the curriculum is going to be at my new school (in a state, on the other side of the country, haha). Any tips? Has anyone else been in this situation? Thanks 🙂

You'll adapt. You might as well get used to it.

Switching high schools is nothing compared to the transition to college life. And even that is nothing compared to dental school.

Getting adjusted to a change in academic setting is an experience shared by everyone in health care.

It's high school. Don't worry about it. All that matters is that you get into a good college, and one semester of high school probably isn't going to ruin that if you have a good GPA already. On the plus side, you probably won't have any friends at your new school so you'll have plenty of time to study.
