did anyone else get an email from morgan today stating that they were missing credentials and everything must be submitted by march 26th or their app is incomplete?!

bc i submitted my app in late october...and this is the first sign of contact from UH. today! worst of all..everything on my application says COMPLETE. theres no missing parts...

what gives!?

Did he specifically tell you what documents you are missing? Maybe it's just a mass email sent to everyone who has not interviewed yet. Call or email him right away.

Just occurred to me, did you submit your fall transcript already? Maybe that's the one missing...

i just wanted to let you all that i just got my "conditional" ACCEPTANCE letter from UHCOP.
it is conditional since i have to take my writing comp II class in summer, or at least thats why it is conditional.

but let's hope i will start Fall 2008.
for the curious minds, my interview was on Feb 29th.
Hopefully you will also receive the same good news soon.

I also interviewed on the 29th and received that letter today... I think its a generic letter, and once you receive the letter in the mail next wk sometime and accept the invitation, it becomes official. We all have some classes that are needed to be complete before we start in Fall.

I feel ur pain... I was in the UH library studying for an orgo test when i found out, and that test doesnt disappear even if im in.... and I work the following 3 days straight... but its still really exciting.

If you are accepted you will get a generic (no name) email from Dr. Smesny. The official letter will come in the mail a few days after. People who don't get an email from her will get a letter in the mail indicating whether they are tabled or rejected.

As far as I know, if you get tabled they will keep comparing you to other applicants interviewing on later dates. Once all interviews are done and acceptances offered, the people who got tabled (who still didn't get acceptances) will then be ranked and put on wait list.

Aim for the 80th percentile or above. Do not have a subsection score in the teens or twenties. They prefer each subsection to be above 70 but if you bomb one section (below 70) they are willing to overlook it as long as it is not in the teens or 20s. They really consider that a red flag.

That's something a pre-pharmacy advisor from the college told me. "Red flag" were actually the words she used.

If I am correct, they start accepting applications either in September or October, but you can still take the august PCAT and send them the scores. Just let them know you took the august PCAT.

When you start filling in the application, you will have to put in all your pre-requisite grades. But you will still turn in all your college work transcripts. From what I remember (from a talk with another advisor), they are only concerned with your pre-req GPA.

BTW, do you go to UH? You should set up an appointment for advising. Write down all your questions so you won't forget.

I have recently been accepted to both UH Hilo and South Uni in Georgia and am trying to make as best a decision as I can in choosing which school to send my deposit to. I lived in Honolulu for a few years, and I will say that I'd have a hard time deciding. Hilo might be a better place than Honolulu, though, so that might make it easier.

thanks!!! yea i've heard a lot of great things. a couple of my friends have already been accepted and they keep telling me not to freak out lol. i'm not nervous about the interview at all... actually i'm as excited as ever!!! i'm just nervous at the idea of not getting in because this is my top choice. true i did get into tech but i would much rather go here being that i know the school a lot better and that my family need me here due to some personal stuff that has come up. i just really love UH... i really don't wanna leave

I have some friends at UH, not pharmacy school. They had Spring Break last week, so for those of you with interview tomorrow, be ready to see a regular day. Dont think you are gonna be the only one looking for parking..
