what? na man, that's not true. i mean, it may be one of the more accurate ones, but i've read tons of posts on this forum...everyone says AAMC7-10 are the most accurate predictors. i got in 30s on 7-9. i'm not worried at all by this. i'm taking AAMC6 tomorrow and i'll own that to show the mcat who is boss. i'm definitely gonna study 10 real hard tho and see why i missed so many questions tonight.
if your name hadnt have been "bozz" who wrote your post, i would have flamed you instantly. ive read your posts on here tho so i know you know what you're talking about. i would agree with you that i should postpone if i was getting 24s on all the 7-10s. that's simply not the case, tho. and for me, i don't know if i even agree 7-10 are the best predictors b/c ive gotten similar scores on 3 and 4 as i got on 7-9. besides...if i do bad ill have time to retake it in august if needed. thats the only reason i'm taking it this early. i know many of you say you should ONLY take it once but my premed advisor told me 80% of applicants take the test twice. the reason you take it earlier is so you CAN retake and still make it on time for applications. and to be completely honest, i'd take his 30+ years as the head premed advisor at my school over a premed or medical student's advice on this forum. 😛 i definitely agree you should only plan to take it once. you should never PLAN on retaking it...but this isnt like the LSAT where the scores are averaged. in fact, many schools have even done away with averaging LSAT scores now.
