Could anyone give his/her thoughts please?

Albany
-Closer to home (I'm a NY'er)
-Smaller/more individualized instruction
-Relatively high student satisfaction
-Good admin

UIC-Chicago
-More urban environment, diverse patient pop etc
-lower tuition (scholarship)
-better rep, more funding, affiliated w/ a univ.
-But I've hear students gripe about the lack of personability and admin
-Great clinical
-Better rep?

Thanks!

i dont know anything about albany, but uic-chicago students have an awesome clinical experience (great hospitals) with, as you mentioned, diverse pt populations and probably some really interesting pathology
plus, the city of chicago beats albany hands down (ive spent time in albany and im from chicago)

dude, howd u get a scholarship... im from outta state and dont wanna pay 50k to go to UIC... Id pick UIC over albany in a heartbeat by the way.

Please PM me to help me out on the financial note.
Thanks and good luck, both schools are DOPE.. and ur gonna be a MD no matter what.
