Hi Everyone,

I haven't seen much on this program in the forum before. You're only eligible to apply if you've been rejected by the medical school. From what I know on the site it's a 14 month program, that is tailored to the student and their needs (some students are asked to retake the MCAT). If you complete the program successfully with at least a 3.0/4.0 then you are automatically accepted into the next medical class.

I've applied to the program but the site says that decisions are made in May of each year. Whether that means the beginning or end of May I'm not sure. But I just wanted to know if anyone has done this program or know of someone who has.

How did you like it? What kind of financial aid did you receive? How big is this program? How many students completed it successfully? Any extra information would be great. Thanks!

I am very interested in this program as well because of my low MCAT score. From what I know you apply through AMCAS and then can get offered a spot but I have no idea when. You say you "applied" to the program, did you do this specifically or did you just apply to UIC's medical school?
