None of the programs are bad. Loyola has improved, the others all have great things about them. Don't give too much credit to old posts on this forum. Many are not balanced.
I would consider looking outside of Chicago. Great city, but none of the programs are really outstanding. I think the patient population is diluted as well by all the academic centers. I went to med school in Chicago, planned to stay, and rotated at 3 of the programs. My current program is the only academic center in the region and we see incredible cases regularly. I've heard the same thing from other residents in other programs where they are the only academic center.
