Hi everyone,

This year must be my lucky year. I got accepted in 2 Universities, UIC and University of Pennsylvania :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:.
If one has to make a choice between UIC and Penn which would you recommend?
Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Thanks.

Congratulalations charlie55. If the amount of deposit is of no issue to you, then UPENN is where you wanna be.

from what i gather, penn is an ivy league school! the mercedes benz, according to another thread. so cant really give that up now can ya!

Thank u guys for your replies but could u please give me more details why University of Penn is better than UIC, based in what aspects you say that.
by the way everyone i asked said Penn is better than UIC but i want to know why and what is difference between them.
thanks

my 2 cents would be....upenn is ivy league so thats major plus.

think is terms of cost, location, weather, future aspirations, current interest (research and so on), and make up your mind.

Hi Charlie 55, congrats for your acceptance in both universities. if i had choice, i would never give up UPenn over UIC for several good reasons i.e. one, as u read it again and again, UPENN is an IVY league school. second, UPENN always help its students to pass the state board licencing exam more than UIC does, third, UPENN is a big name in postgraduation. Fourth, curriculum is considered more for students at UPENN. UPENN also gives reasonable time off to students during the course. regarding the cost it is almost the same so if you are getting a Ferari and a Honda at the same price your choice what to buy, at least my common sense would go for Ferari i.e. UPENN.

charlie 55: can you please post your stats and when did you graduate. thanks.

go with the one which offers more clinical exposure!
