ULouisville ADCOM Meeting Jan 11

Has anyone heard anything yet? I was told they could only notify us via snail mail, but just wondering if anyone has emailed or called. Let me know when you interviewed and if you've heard anything. I interviewed Dec. 1st, but i heard they had a huge backlog of people so they may not even get to me on Jan 11th. If so, does anyone know when the next adcom meeting is?

Any help would be appreciated.

how is it possible to have interviewed at louisville 2 months ago and have them tell you that you application still hasn't been discussed? what kind of rhyme or reason is there to that? i'm so frustrated with them it's beyond belief.has anyone here interviewed after early november and gotten a decision from louisville?

Their committee meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, so it meets on the 25th next. They still havn't made a decision on my file yet, and I was interviewed back in September. I'm out of state though.

september and still no decision?!! that is ridiculous.

They told me on Dec 9th that 2/3 of the class was already filled 🙁

how does uofl decide who they are going to discuss at their meetings and when...the lady i talked to gave me the vaguest answer..she just said they do not necessarily go by chronological order. it makes me mad because my friend who had right around the same stats as me was discussed immediately after he interviewed and was accepted whereas i've been sitting here for 2 months...at least uk let me know quickly that i was waitlisted..uofl is dragging this on and its becoming really frustrating. 😡

how does U of L contact you for acceptance/rejection?

They only send out letters via snail mail. You can call them to ask if they have made a decision on your file, but they won't say if you were accepted or rejected over the phone.
