Ultrasound Tech Salary

Hello! I have a bachelor's degree in Marketing and am considering going back to school for ultrasound tech.

I've spoken to a few (who live in a different state) and can't seem to get any real answers as far as pay!

I've checked payscale.com, indeed.com and salary.com and I feel that across the board for all careers they inflate salary info, big time!

So I was wondering- is there anyone out there that can tell me
1. In Chicago what do US Techs end up making right out of school?
2. In Chicago what to US Techs end up making with a few years of experience?

Just trying to make an informed decision before I go back to school.
