Hey all. Is anyone moving from California to Boston this fall? LET'S SPLIT A MOVING VEHICLE. It would be lots cheaper and we could bring more stuff that way! I'll be and MS I this fall and want to have my stuff in Boston around August 1. Private message me if anyone's interested.

Hey, have any unaccepted waitlisters heard from umass? Based on previous years, waitlisters are often asked if they are still interested at this point or are told they don't have a reasonable chance. I haven't heard anything! Although I left for vacation a few days ago, so I suppose the dreaded letter could be in my mailbox.

Interesting! Because I tried logging on last Wednesday and couldn't...typed in username and password, but then wouldn't load properly. I haven't tried since because I am on vacation and don't know the address. It is so hard not to read into every little thing!

Hey guys, one of my roommates for next year decided not to go to med school at all (no real intention of practicing clinically - wants to work in the business side of health care and an MD isn't absolutely necessary for that), so there's one more spot open in the class of 2012 (pretty sure regular MD). Even though it's this late, you never know what some people might decide.

They don't screen. I talked to the office today and they are having issues with their secondary, hope to have it up next week.

I don't know, could be lots of things I guess. Maybe they are just runnning behind. One thing that does interest me, though, is that I read somewhere on sdn that med schools can "see" through AMCAS which schools have accepted you. Does anyone know if this is true cause it seems kind of unrealistic? Anyway, if so, maybe they haven't contacted us yet because we haven't been accepted elsewhere (at least I haven't) and are hanging onto us because they know they can in case something opens up. However, I am sure I am reading too much into it!

i remember reading in that packet they gave us that the academic year begins on the 1st of august, so we don't have much more to wait either way. it's been a long year. good luck everyone.

I am applying ED to umass since I have my heart set on only umass. I am working on the secondary right now and attempting to reread my favorite book

i remember reading in that packet they gave us that the academic year begins on the 1st of august, so we don't have much more to wait either way. it's been a long year. good luck everyone.

Technically the official orientation this year doesn't start until Thursday 8/7 - 8/1 is the optional student organized and led outing trip, I'd say that probably doesn't count. you never know. good luck.

I FINALLY got the very gentle rejection letter yesterday as well.

I am just about ready to submit the secondary for EDP, so obviously no interview invite for me as well.
