Hi! I just recently received my acceptance to the program and didn't see a thread for people in the program and decided to start one. I just thought like the other programs, this one should have a thread too for people to chat and meet! If you've been accepted and might be going, post away!

Hi I just got accepted to the UMDNJ program as well, I am debating between LECOM and UMDNJ, has anyone heard anything about either of these programs (bad or good)? I would very much appreciate any help I can get.

I am a little turned of by LECOM being in the area it is, b/c I love big cities, but I have heard alot of people say it was very helpful to them.

Again any help would be great.

Hi there, I actually don't know much about either program to be honest. Unfortunately, not many people seem to be responding on this forum about UMDNJ so I haven't gotten any feedback either. I've been researching the school a little bit and it seems like a good program. The people I spoke with at the school were nice and helpful as well. Sorry I'm not of much help, hope you find your answers!! Let me know what you decide!

I know they're opening up that new graduate housing complext on or near campus and wasn't too sure how to go about applying for that. I was told to email leslie lucy to get my name on a mailing list? Anyway, I just don't really know much about the area so let me know what you all are doing!

Orientation begins Monday, August 21st. I'm planning on taking the MCAT again on the 19th and i'm from CA so that'll be a hectic weekend for me! I don't know which courses I'm taking just yet, I'm not even really sure how to register. Good luck to you all, excited to meet you in a couple months!

There's an MS/MBS program at a different campus? I thought it was just at the Newark campus (northern Jersey). I'm not sure where everyone else is going...

Peppy, I'm in the same boat with MCAT on the 19th and O-week on 21st but i'm skipping orientation to go to hawaii (supposedly orientation is nothing too important). Registration is supposed to happen in the mail in august. Anybody have good info about classes/teachers? Also, there's a very negative post about the program on SDN but it's from 2003, hope things have improved.

I don't really know much about teachers and classes, sorry! Hawaii sounds fun, I'll be packing frantically and moving out to NJ while you're enjoying the beaches!

Where is everyone thinking about living? I think I will be in Jersey City.

Yeah I read a negative post from a while back as well, I think it might be the same one but I just read a few more from people who really loved it at UMDNJ- med students, MS students, and others- so it sounds like a pretty good place to be!

I don't know if I am taking those classes yet. I emailed Dr. Ingoglia about whether or not I was accepted as a student who could and he just said that we would here from them shortly. I guess registration will be done through the mail?

I'm taking the August MCAT but am not in NJ, I'm in CA...but feel free to PM me and we can message back and forth w/ questions or something!

I received my acceptance letter from UMDNJ_Stratford. I recently found out about these programs and missed the deadline for the Newark Campus.

Does anyone has more info to share about the stratford program in terms of experiences? I see there are some posts from 2005.

Hi guys!! Did you all get the email about registration and orientation? What exactly is MGM- They say it is suggested for those who want to go on to medical schools but I didn't know if it was a class w/ medical school students or something else. If we were not pre-approved, does anyone know if we're allowed to take other classes w/ med students?

Hi Im new here and was looking to post for a roommate(s) looking to find housing in the Newark campus area. Im looking for studious individuals who is/are in the similar program and are particularly in the dental track. I'am currently pre-approved for the dental physiology course and can hopefully find either a MSBS student also taking this class in fall 06 or 1st yr dental student going to UMDNJ.

Im going to go to UMDNJ to scout out places to live today. I'm hoping I can find something really really close to class so I can jump out my window, take a few steps and not be late for class.

I'am also interested in information on electives and other classes that ppl might suggest, lecture notes that people who finished the course do not want and/or advise about classes, neighborhood, etc. * Big bro or big sis would always help *
