Can you provide some insight as to which school is better from an overall perspective? I am planning to apply to these schools..
Surely UCSF compared to UMDNJ.
I did not have a good experience with UMDNJ.
1. It has highest application fees - $250.
2. I sent my all documents, they did not send me any confirmation of application status. I called them to inquire. Their staff was very rude and told me on phone we will let you know if you get interview call. I politely asked her, but how should I get interview call if any of my doc is missing. She again told me rudely, we are getting 100 applications. We cannot reply everyone's call or email for confirmation.
3. Some people got the interview calls. So I called them for status on my application. They told me we cannot mention status of your application on phone. I asked, is there any other method to know. She said NO.
Staff is very bad...that made me angry..also if they dont want to reply any call or email, then why they are charging such high application fees - $250????? I do not see any ethics here - take money and no answer.
Also i heard that neighborhood is not good. it is not safe.
UCSF - I heard only good things about it. So I recommended UCSF.
all my money for UCSF
ok i wont talk about ucsf because I really dont know anything about that school ,but I know about umdnj ,there re still people here complaining about the 250 bucksfor application and bench test saying that its expensive but again they dont know what they re writing ,.the international program at umdnj is new but at the same time its old ,let me explain this ,when u got accepted u have to go through a summer calibration program starting may and then if u pass that summer program u join to the junior coming class i september which means u re a junior student in njds and then u become a senior and u graduate like any regular student ,which means that u will receive the same education than regular students which is excellent ,u re part of the regular batch or class .thats why I said its also old because once u start in the junior year u re receiving the same courses ,lectures, didactics, etc than regular class.
Thank you for the feedback.
It is not a big deal whether we study with regular NJDS class or as international students in different class. The big deal is quality of education and school culture. UMDNJ simply lacks all of these.
