Hey all,

My question is simple... which of those two schools are more friendly to NY residents?

I spoke with my advisor today and she told me there is a difference between living in the southern part of NY (NYC) versus living in a more northern region. She mentioned that one of those school, if not both, tend to be more receptive to residents of NYC, which is what I am. I'm in the process of cutting my list.

Another school that I'm curious about is the University of Maryland.. Any ideas about that school?

Thanks!

do a search, please. this topic is discussed ad nauseam.

Most threads that I found talked about the differences of those schools in terms of location, curriculum, academics, etc.

There's not a lot of info about their friendliness to OOS.

Both schools give preference to NJ residents, however, from what I recall NJMS accepts more OOS applicants than does RWJMS.
